DESCRIPTION: 8(a) STARS III is a multiple-award indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity (MA-ID/IQ) contract designed to provide federal agencies with innovative information technology (IT) services-based solutions from award-winning 8(a) small businesses. A Best-in-Class GWAC, 8(a) STARS III enables federal agencies to access 8(a) firms through an established contract vehicle instead of traditional open-market methods – saving time and taxpayer money.

The scope of the 8(a) STARS III GWAC is centered on North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541512, but may include other NAICS codes that are predominately IT services. These may include but are not limited to, NAICS code 541511, 541513, 541519, and 518210. Additionally, 8(a) STARS III includes two focused scope sub-areas: Emerging Technologies (ET) and OCONUS Place of Performance. Task order types for this contract include fixed price, time and materials, labor-hour or a hybrid blend.

AIR FORCE ESCAPE/MROi/Log-IT (Digital Transformation, Logistics & Supply Chain, Cybersecurity, Program Advisory) TACG provided logistics and supply chain experts to support the deployment of fully operational material solutions, including Enterprise Supply Chain Analysis and Planning Execution (ESCAPE) and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul initiative (MROi). Our team worked to ensure the startup of deployment activities, data engineering, data analytics, data science, natural language processing (NLP), functional testing, site readiness, and software development delivery processes, including identifying Bounded User Requirements (BUR), functional requirements, and functional review board (FRB) activities. We authored and maintained the BUR deliverables, including the Service Reference Model (SRM), Data Reference Model (DRM), and Materiel Solution Implementation Plan (MIMP), providing business process modeling and requirements traceability. MROi and ESCAPE will support CBM+ processes and provide extensive base data for analysis.
